ATTACHMENT 1 <br />ATTY/RESO.0017/CC RESO MID-YEAR APPROPRIATIONS <br />REV: 02-17-16 JS <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ___________ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING CERTAIN <br />FUNDS FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES DURING FY 2015/2016 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City’s existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, grants and revenue are received during the course of the fiscal year <br />which were not anticipated when the City’s budgets were first approved; and <br />WHEREAS, appropriations need to be established in order for staff to utilize <br />grants and revenues received; and <br />WHEREAS, generally, twice a year staff will present appropriation changes to <br />the City Council for approval; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has presented written documentation, which is attached hereto <br />as Exhibits “A” and “B”, which set forth in particularity the changes in revenues and the <br />changes in expenditures, respectively; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City’s budget for fiscal year 2015/16 is hereby amended to <br />incorporate the following stated changes, as described in more detail in Exhibits “A” and <br />“B”, which exhibits are attached hereto and made a part hereof. Such changes include <br />the revenue changes listed in Exhibit A and the expenditure changes listed in Exhibit B. <br />The expenditure amounts listed in Exhibit B are hereby appropriated and transferred for <br />the specific purposes described therein. <br /> <br /> <br />/// <br /> <br />/// <br /> <br />/// <br /> <br /> <br />6.3.B. - Page 4
