City of Redwood City, Public Works Division Initial Study & Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />Document Date: October 15, 2015 <br />Revision Date: January 25, 2016 Page 10 Blankinship & Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />2.0 INITIAL STUDY <br />This document was prepared in a manner consistent with Section 21064.5 of the California Public <br />Resources Code and Article 6 of the State CEQA Guidelines (14 California Code of Regulations). <br /> <br />This Initial Study, Environmental Checklist, and evaluation of potential environmental effects were <br />completed in accordance with Section 15063 of the State CEQA Guidelines to determine if the <br />proposed Project could have any potentially significant effect on the physical environment, and if <br />so, what mitigation measures would be imposed to reduce such impacts to less-than-significant <br />levels. <br /> <br />An explanation is provided for all determinations, including the citation of sources as listed in <br />Section 5. A “No Impact” or a “Less-than-Significant Impact” determination indicates that the <br />proposed Project would not have a significant effect on the physical environment for that specific <br />environmental category. <br /> <br />Mitigation measures will be implemented to reduce the potentially significant impacts to less-than- <br />significant levels. <br /> <br />2.1 CEQA Initial Study & Environmental Check List Form <br /> <br />1.
