Contractor shall maintain coverage with limits not less than$1,400,000 per each accident for owned,hired and aon-0wned sutomobiles. 7.1.3 Wozkers'Compensarion Insurauce. Contractor shall maintain coverage as required by the California Labor Code. The Workeis' Compensation policy shall contain an endorsement stating that the insurer waives aay right to subrogation against thc City,its officers,agents,employees and volunteers. 7.1.4 Employer's Liabilitv Insurance. Contractor shall maintain coverage with limits not less than$1,00O,OOQ per each accident for bod,ily injury or disease. 72. Notice of Caacellation. This insurance will be in force during the life of the Agreement and any extensions of it and will not be canceled without Contractor providing thirty (30) days prior written notice to City sent pursuant to the Notice pmvisions of this Agreement. 7.3 Providina Certificates of Insurance and Endorseruents. Prior to City's execution of this Agreement, Contractor sball provide to City certificates of insurance and above- referenced endorsements sui�cient to satisfaction of City's Risk Manager. In no event shall Contiactor commence any work or provide any Services under this Agreement until certificates of insurance and endorscmenb have been accepted by City's Risk Maaager. 7.4 Failure to Maintain Coverase. If Contractor fails to comply arith these insurance requirements, t�en City will have the option to declare Contractor in breach, or may purcha4e replacement insurance or pay the premiums that are due on existing golicies in ' order to maintain the required coverages. Contractor is responsible for any payments made by City to obtain or maintain insurance and City may collect these payments from Conttactor or deduct the amount paid from any sums due Contractor under this Agreement 7.5 Submission of Insurance Policies. City reserves the right to require, at any time, complete copies of any or all required i„�+�n+.+ce policies and endorsements. 8. Nondiscrfiminaiion and Eanal Oanorhiniri. During the performance of this Agreement, Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race,religion,creed,color,national origin,sex,sexual orientation or age.
