EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES Contractor will perform the following activities to re-surface the gutter system at Fire Station#9, located at 755 Marshall Street in Redwood City, California: Task 1 —Completely clean 410 linear feet of gutter. Gutters will be wire brushed, broomed, and washed completely clean. Task 2 —Prime the repair area with RustEnders urethane based corrosion converter at the rate of one gallon per one hundred square feet. Allow the application to cure (usually around 2 hours). Task 3 — Brush Vulkem 801, a liquid one-part polyurethane coating system, over the entire project length of the gutter to a 40 wet mil thickness. One ply of six (6) inch stitch bonded polyester membrane will be worked into the fresh urethane. The membrane will be brushed firmly into the corners of the seam to ensure good adhesion. Task 4—Apply a second 40 wet mil application of Vulkem 801 to the 4101inear feet of gutter. WARRANTY Contractor wi11 warranty the labor and materials of the outlined repairs for a period of five (5) years. If any of the Contractor's waterproofing components fail, Contractor will repair them at no charge to the City. PAYMENT For the services described in Exhibit A, the City agrees to pay Contractor a total contract amount of$26,730.00, which amount shall include all expenses. A progress payment equaling 30% of the total contract price is due within 3 days of project commencement. The balance on the project including any addendums shall be due within 3 days of completion.
