Place 7 - 8 Redwood City single parents and 9 - 12 Redwood City children in affordable housing <br /> Implement Housing Authority Certificates <br /> · Manage three service-enriched shared living residences in Redwood City to provide <br /> affordable housing to 7 - 8 single parent families <br /> · Provide subsidized, affordable housing to two single parent families who live independently <br /> in HIP Housing owned apartment units in Redwood City <br /> <br />2. Provide on going case management to oversee and monitor progress towards self-sufficiency for <br /> 7 - 8 Redwood City single - parent families <br /> · Provide guidance and support through monthly or bi-monthly meetings <br /> · Connect 7 - 8 Redwood City families with resources for child care, employment, financial <br /> assistance and appropriate counseling <br /> <br />3. Provide 12 Life Skills Workshops for developing self-sufficiency skills <br /> <br />4. Coordinate the Mentor Program to connect four Redwood City participants to four volunteer mentors <br /> who will provide support that will foster professional advancement and guidance in career choices. <br /> <br /> <br />
