Councilman Greenalch described his long <br /> relationship with Jim and Jim's love for Redwood City; how much Jim respected and admired <br /> those who wanted the best for Redwood City. Councilman Greenalch described Jim as a very <br /> private man with a remarkable sense of adventure, and how in his last days Jim told him he was <br /> looking forward to finding out what life is like on the other side, just as on the other side of the <br /> mountain. Councilman Greenalch said that "we are all so fortunate that Jim Smith passed our <br /> way, and we are all so fortunate that he made this City his fifth son, his second wife and his <br /> first daughter.
