MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />March 14, 2016 <br />MO. 16-040 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: March 15, 2016 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />**hard copy available upon request" <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - 2015-2016 Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.11A (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority of <br />Redwood City on March 14, 2016. <br />Present: Council Members, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain and Mayor <br />Seybert. <br />M/S Masur/Bain to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted. <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents and <br />award the standard form construction contract 00520 for the 2015-2016 Sanitary Sewer <br />Replacement Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Casey Construction Inc. of Emerald <br />Hills, California for their low bid of $3,121,340.00; and, authorize the City Manager to increase <br />the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the original contract amount, not to exceed <br />$3,433,474.00; and, confirm determination that the project is exempt and meets California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption criteria as set forth in Section 15301 (Existing <br />Facilities) and Section 15302 (Replacement or Reconstruction) of the CEQA Regulations <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote with Council Member Aguirre absent. <br />Silvia Vonderlinden <br />Municipal City Clerk <br />
