EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> EL CENTRO DE LIBERTAD-THE FREEDOM CENTER <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2001/2002 <br /> <br /> CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />1. Provide an alcohol and drug education prevention program to 79 youth attending one of three <br /> Redwood City schools: Redwood High Continuation School, the Courts Community School in <br /> Redwood City, and the Community School at the Fair Oaks Community Center. <br /> <br />2. 63 youth (80%) will attend a minimum of 12 sessions, thus graduating from the program and <br /> earning a certificate of completion. <br /> <br />3. All of the 63 youth graduating from the Program will demonstrate increased awareness of: a) the <br /> genetic and environmental causes of addiction; b) their own risk factors; and c) community <br /> resources that can help them address their problems. <br /> <br /> <br />
