<br /> and the productions are available to all. <br /> Warren Dale, Peninsula Conflict Resolution mediator, asked Bill Starr of the <br /> Circle Star if $750 rental was comparable, and Mr. Starr advised it was. <br /> Mario Biaggi, spoke in favor of the proposal, but suggested the City buy the <br /> Theatre and lease it to Peninsula Center Stage for 3 or 4 months a year. <br /> Helen Graves, member of the Historic Resources Advisory Committee, asked <br /> Council to be sure to have the Theatre inspected and through the agreement <br /> have Peninsula Center Stage clean up the building and property and be a good <br /> neighbor. <br /> The treasurer (did not give her name) of Peninsula Center Stage advised the <br /> company was fiscally sound and did not operate at a deficit every year. <br /> Ernest Wuthmann, member of the Task Force, spoke in favor of the proposal <br /> and asked the Council to go forward. <br /> City Manager Ed Everett suggested that Council consider this issue in <br /> concept only (the twelve-month $47,000 proposal) and if approved work would <br /> begin on the agreement. <br /> CONSENSUS: It was determined by Mayor La Berge that it was the consensus of <br /> the Council to consider this issue in concept only during the next Council <br /> meeting of March 9, 1992. <br /> MEMO 3/3/92 <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />5.
