Mayor La Berge reported on the Grand Opening of the boating season on the South Bay where she served as the Grand Marshal. Mayor La Berge described the parade of festooned boats that took part in the opening day ceremonies. Mayor La Berge stated there was need for two Council Members to serve on the committee to consider a new school in Redwood Shores. Councilwoman Buchan volunteered to serve and Mayor La Berge suggested Councilman Murray would probably want to serve also as he lives in Redwood Shores.
