SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Funding for this agreement has been granted from the San Mateo County Health <br /> System , Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to support the <br /> Redwood City and North Fair Oaks Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Partnership. <br /> Youth Leadership Institute will work in collaboration with the AOD Abuse Prevention <br /> Partnership to build program capacity in increasing assets and resilience of vulnerable <br /> populations through youth development, to increase the number of youth involved in <br /> positive leadership and skill-building opportunities, and to provide training and technical <br /> assistance for adult leaders and program providers in youth development programs in <br /> the community. <br /> Youth Leadership Institute specific tasks will include: <br /> • Support a minimum of six (6) Friday Night Live ("FNL") chapters with technical <br /> assistance in Redwood City/North Fair Oaks ("NFO"). <br /> • Conduct 12 trainings for FNL Adult Chapter Advisors in 4 Redwood City/NFO <br /> locations to increase and improve their use and implementation of evidence- <br /> based Standards of Practice (SOP) in their work with youth . Outcomes will be <br /> measured through a pre- and post- FNL Youth Development Survey which shall <br /> be conducted and completed by YLI . <br /> • YLI staff will conduct the 2015-2016 FNL Youth Development Survey with FNL <br /> youth participants, in collaboration with FNL Adult Chapter Advisors to implement <br /> the surveys. YLI will generate a 2015-2016 Youth Development Survey report <br /> specific to the RWC/NFO chapters. <br /> • Conduct one 3-part Friday Night Live Regional Training Series designed to <br /> provide success for the youth-led project of RWC/NFO youth groups and <br /> initiatives in collaboration with adult allies from the Prevention Partnership. <br /> • Work with staff at John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities to <br /> identify indicators of success and develop/implement evaluation plan for tracking <br /> success and impact of all the above-mentioned projects. <br /> • YLI staff will attend monthly Prevention Partnership Steering Committee <br /> meetings. <br /> • Ensure appropriate County reporting and data collection requirements are met <br /> including but not limited to entering and maintaining monthly CaIOMS records. <br /> • Complete other tasks related the Redwood City 2020 AOD Prevention <br /> Partnership as assigned and agreed upon by Youth Leadership Institute and <br /> Redwood City 2020. <br /> REV: 03-08-16 RL <br /> Page 10 of 11 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2016.044/AOD Prevention Subcontract with YLI 15-16 <br />
