O R D I N A N C E N 0 . ? 61 APPROVING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "HARCROSS ROAD TERRITORY" TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY . THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : Whereas , on December 21 , 1953 , the Council of Redwood City did pass and adopt Resolution No . 1620 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Redwood City , said territory being herein designated as "Harcross Road Territory" , and said action being taken by the Council of said City as the legislative body of the City pursuant to written petition therefor , said resolution specifically describing the boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to said City ; and , Whereas , said Resolution No . 1620 did contain a notice of the day , hour and place when and where the said Council of said City would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed , the time of said hearing being not less than , nor more than , the time required for said hearing from the date of passage of said resolution ; and , Whereas, on February 1 , 1954, at the hour of 8 o ' clock p . m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Redwood City , County of San Mateo , State of California , said time and place being the day , hour and place fixed in said Resolution No . 1620 for hearing protests to said annexation , the said Council of said City did hear and pass upon all protests made to said proposed annexation , did determine that no protests to said proposed annexation have been made by the owners of one -half ( 1/2 ) of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll , or by public and private owners of one -half ( 1/2 ) the value of the property proposed to be
