ARTICLE XV <br /> PENALTIES AND EFFECT OF ORDINANCE <br /> Sec . 210 . Penalties . Any person violating any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction <br /> thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for <br /> not exceeding three months , or by a fine of not to exceed three <br /> hundred dollars ( S300 . 00 ) , or by both such fine and imprisonment . <br /> See . 211 . Effect of Ordinance . If any section , sub- section , sentence , <br /> clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be <br /> unconstitutional , such decision shall not effect the validity of <br /> the remaining portions of this ordinance . The legislative body <br /> hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each <br /> section , sub- section , sentence , clause and phrase thereof , irre- <br /> spective of the fact that any one or more sections , sub- sections , <br /> sentences , clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional . <br /> See . 212 . Effective Date . This ordinance shall be effective thirty <br /> ( 30 ) days after its adoption . <br /> Passed and adopted by the Council of the City. of Redwood <br /> City at a regular meeting thereof , held on the 1st day of <br /> February, 1954 . <br />
