Is O R D I N A N C E NO . 755 ESTABLISHING "NO --PARILING" ZONE ON -TALE NORTHERLY SIDE OF BROADWAY , EAST OF CHARTER STREET . COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : Section 1 . A "No -Parking " zone is hereby established along the northerly curb line of Broadway in the City of Redwood City in an area more particularly described as follows : Beginning at a point on the Northerly curb line of Broadway, said point be - ing 40 . 34. feet Easterly from the in - tersection of said curb line with the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line of Lot 1 , Redwood Industrial Tract No . 2 , filed April 30 , 1952 , in Book 35 of Maps at Pages 3 , 4, 5 , and 6 , in- clusive ; San Hateo County Records ; THENCE. Westerly along said curb line a distance of 470 feet , more or less , to the intersection with the Southwesterly prolongation of the Southeasterly curb line of Charter Street . Section 2 . No person shall stop , stand or park any vehicle in said "No -Parking " zone at any time . Section 3 . Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not ex- ceeding One Hundred Dollars ( $100 . 00 ) , or imprisonment in the County Jail of San Mateo County , California , for a period not exceeding thirty ( 30 ) days , or by both such fine and im- prisonment . Section 4 . The City Manager is hereby directed to designate said "No --Parking " zone established by this Ordinance by having appropriate signs erected or curb markings establish- ed adjacent to the curb , in accordance with the Vehicle Code of the State of California .
