EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES Funding for this agreement has been granted from the San Mateo County Health System, Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to support the Redwood City and North Fair Oaks Alcohal and Other Drug Prevention Partnership. John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities at Stanford University will continue its research and evaluation role in the Redwood City/North Fair Oaks A�D Abuse Prevention Partnership. Key activities will include: • Develop a report for the AOD Prevention Partnership and stakeholders, building upon previous work, to determine how the AOD Prevention Partnership contributes to the community's youth landscape. A number of data sources will be used, including AOD Prevention Partnership partners' data and indicators, evidence from youth and adult providers, and secondary data sources. • Contribute a research-oriented perspective to the AOD Prevention Partnership steering committee meetings and in consultation with Prevention Partnership partners; • Provide limited technical assistance to key staff of seven Prevention Partnership member organizations. The technical assistance will be focused on supporting partners in identifying and utilizing appropriate measurement tools to support the , Prevention Partnership's strategic objective of developing more robust measures to capture the effects of the Prevention Partnership's work and supporting Redwood City 2020 staff in engaging data in the strategic planning process (to occur during fall and winter 2015, approximately 20 hours). This technical assistance and planning will take place during previously established work group meetings as well as with individual members via phone, email, and in-person. • Ensure appropriate County reporting and data collection requirements are met including but not limited to entering and maintaining monthly CaIOMS records. • JGC staff will attend monthly Prevention Partnership Steering Committee meetings. • Complete other tasks related the Redwood City 2020 AOD Prevention Partnership as assigned and agreed upon by John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities at Stanford University and Redwood City 2020. Consultant will submit progress reports in writing or in person and will invoice Redwood City 2020 twice per fiscal year, providing documentation of actions. Payment will be billed in two equal installments, the total value of which is not to exceed $15,000.
