7.B. - Page 14 <br /> The City also proposes to construct the Bair Island Storm Drain Pump <br /> Station adjacent to the proposed path. The new underground pumps,wet <br /> well,vault, enclosed emergency generator, and interconnecting pipelines <br /> would replace the existing pump station,which would be demolished. The <br /> new pumps would be capable of discharging the 32.4 cfs flow from the 22- <br /> acre drainage area during a 100-year storm event in,in compliance with City <br /> design criteria. The new pump station would discharge its flow through the <br /> existing 24-inch line into Redwood Creek. <br /> Surrounding Land Uses: U.S. Highway 101, the waterfront development in the Bayfront areas <br /> east of the freeway including the One Marina development and an <br /> automobile dealership, and the commercial development on the west side of <br /> the freeway, open space,and recreational uses. <br /> Other Agencies Whose Approval is Required: Bay Area Air Quality Management District, <br /> California Department of Fish and Wildlife, California Department of <br /> Transportation.
