Passing material from manhole section to manhole section which could cause line stoppages, accumulations of sand in wet wells, or damage pumping equipment, shall not be permitted. Chemical root treatment shall not be used by the CONTRACTOR. Although hazardous materials are not expected, the CONTRACTOR shall contact the City, if such materials are found. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for proper removal and disposal of any found hazardous materials. The CONTRACTOR shall dispose all solids or semisolids resulring from thc cleaning operations from the site at a suit�bly sairitary landfill site as defined by the Titles 22 and 23 of the California Administrative Code.Under no circumst�nces will the CONTRACTOR will be allowed to accumulate debris on the site. The Contr�ctur will be allawed to store s debris container in the City Public Works Services Department corporation yard.The remov�l and disposal of solids shall be included in the agreed cost. If the CONTRACTOR encounters a surcharging manhole(flow exceeds the diameter of the sewer pipe), the CONTRACTOR sh�ll immediately notify the City Public Works Services Department at (650-780- 7464)and provide information on the cause of the blockage. The CONTRACTOR shall prevent contract operations from causing�stoppage or ovelflow.In the event of a stoppage or overflow,the CONTRACTOR shall immediately notify the City Public Works Services Department at(650-780-7464).The CONTRACTOR shall remove the stoppage and contain and mitigate the overflow. Overflows shall be mitigated to the City's standards including property damage overflows that shall require clea.ning and restoration. All costs for damages occasioned by the overflow are the responsibility of the CONIRACTOR. Lost or damaged meters will require forfeiture of deposits plus cost of ineter replacement. CCTV Inspection Within 24 hours of cleaning the line, CONTRACTOR shall thoroughly inspect the sewer lines using CCTV equipment and WinCxn version 8.30.0.2490 inspection softw�re. The CCTV camera and monitor shall produce a minimum of 460 horizontal lines of resolution.
