6.1.G. - Page 4 <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR <br /> ADDITIONAL FUNDING <br /> This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the 4'h day of November 2015, <br /> amending the agreement dated June 24, 2015 (the "Agreement"), by and between the <br /> REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT, ("DISTRICT"), a political subdivision of the State of <br /> California, and the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California ("CONTRACTOR"), (collectively, the "Parties") for academic and enrichment <br /> services. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. WHEREAS, on June 24, 2015, the parties entered into an Agreement for the <br /> CONTRACTOR to provide extended day academic and enrichment services described in RCSD <br /> Extended Day Program & School Minimum Expectations in Attachment A and RCSD Extended <br /> Day Policies and Protocols in Attachment B at Fair Oaks, Hawes, Hoover, John Gill,Henry Ford <br /> and Selby Lane Schools effective on July 1, 2015, for a one-year period ending June 30, 2016; <br /> and <br /> B. WHEREAS, in Section 12(A) BASE COMPENSATION, the parties agreed that <br /> the CONTRACTOR will perform all the services in this Agreement for an amount not to exceed <br /> $737,386 as detailed specifically in Section 12A. Requirements for the compensation for this <br /> agreement are described in the Attachment B of the original Agreement; and <br /> C. WHEREAS, the Parties have negotiated and agreed to an increase in the base <br /> funding for Hoover School from $99,724 to $128,452, for an aggregate contract total of <br /> $766,114. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Paragraph 1 (Services) is replaced in its entirety as follows: <br /> 1. SERVICES <br /> The CONTRACTOR agrees to provide additional extended day academic and <br /> enrichment services described in RCSD Extended Day Program & School <br /> Minimum Expectations in Attachment A and RCSD Extended Day Policies and <br /> Protocols in Attachment B at Fair Oaks, Hawes, Hoover, John Gill, Henry Ford <br /> and Selby Lane Schools. The RCSD will provide necessary support to the <br /> CONTRACTOR as described in Attachment A. The CONTRACTOR if <br /> applicable will refer 21'Century Community Learning Center families to existing <br /> literacy and related education development services. <br /> The CONTRACTOR agrees to utilize the computer system (City Span) provided <br /> by the RCSD to enter daily attendance.
