DES : yc : 1/ 17/77 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O . 7751 1 <br /> ORIGINAL- <br /> JAN 17 1977 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> GIVING NOTICE OF , AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO , <br /> INITIATE , PURSUANT TO PETITION , PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX <br /> TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY ; DESCRIBING <br /> SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NAME " CORDILLERAS <br /> ROAD ANNEXATION - 1977 " ; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS <br /> RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS ; AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE <br /> TIME AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO <br /> SAID ANNEXATION <br /> WHEREAS , there has heretofore been filed with the Local Agency <br /> Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo , California , a <br /> written description of the proposal to annex to the City of Redwood <br /> City all that territory hereinafter described ; and <br /> WHEREAS , there has been received by the Council of the City <br /> of Redwood City a written petition requesting annexation of the <br /> aforesaid territory to the City of Redwood City ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . This Council hereby finds , determines and declares , with <br /> respect to the hereinafter described real property , as follows : <br /> ( a ) The Local Agency Formation Commission has prepared , or <br /> caused to be prepared , a report to this Council upon <br /> the aforementioned proposal to annex said real property <br /> to the City of Redwood City , and said Commission has <br /> approved said proposed annexation subject to certain <br /> conditions ; <br /> (b ) The territory proposed to be annexed is situate immediately <br /> adjacent to , and touches , and is contiguous to , the <br /> boundaries of the City of Redwood City ; <br /> ( c ) Less than 12 persons who have been registered to vote <br /> within the territory proposed to be annexed for at <br /> least 54 days reside within said territory at the time <br /> of filing the petition for annexation , and said territory <br /> is therefore uninhabited ; <br /> (d ) An environmental impact report has been prepared with <br /> respect to the proposed project which includes the <br /> annexation herein described , and this Council has <br /> considered said report . <br /> 7751 <br />
