Establishment where massage is <br /> provided; massage is defined in Municipal Code Section 18A.2 (Massage <br /> Establishments and Massage Technicians Definitions). Regardless of whether <br /> conducted as a part of a larger establishment (e.g., beauty salon, day spa, etc.), for <br /> purposes of permitting, a massage establishment shall be considered as a separate <br /> use. <br /> B A. Personal Services, General. An establishment providing non-medical services to <br /> individuals as a primary use. Examples of these uses include: <br /> • barber shops and nail, tanning and beauty salons including aromatherapy and <br /> acupressure (without massage services) <br /> • day/health spa (without massage services) <br /> • dry cleaning pick-up stores with limited equipment, tailors and shoe and clothing <br /> repair and rental <br /> • fortunetellers, psychics, and similar services <br /> • healing arts (acupuncture, acupressurc, aromatherapy) <br /> • laundromats (self-service laundries) <br /> • locksmiths <br /> • massage establishment as regulated in Municipal Code Chapter 18A <br /> • nail salons <br /> • shoe repair shops <br /> • <br /> tanning ^la <br /> • tailors <br /> [C renumbered to B] <br /> Medical Clinic.
