8.B. - Page 16 <br /> 30.6 - Size and Spaces. [PARKING] <br /> A. Standard spaces: A standard parking space shall have a minimum width of not less <br /> than eight and one-half(81/z) feet and minimum length of not less than eighteen (18) feet. <br /> Parking layout and aisle dimensions shall be designed in accordance with Redwood City <br /> Engineering Standards. <br /> 1.Angled Parking. Parking ar s for 3 or more vehicles must also meet the following <br /> minimum aisle width requirements: <br /> a. 90 Degree parking requires aisle widths of 211 feet. <br /> b. 60 Degree parking requires aisle widths of 18 feet. <br /> c. 15 Degree parking requires aisle width of 13 feet. <br /> determined by straight line interpolation between specified standards. <br /> 2. Parking lots must be designed such that backing out into a public street is not a necessity <br /> for ordinary turning movements. <br /> [B unchanged] <br /> C. Carpool and Vanpool: Professional, business or administrative offices and financial <br /> services occupying 30,000 square feet or more shall reserve at least 10 percent of the <br /> required spaces for carpool and/or vanpool parking. All designated carpool and vanpool <br /> spaces shall be clearly marked with signs and pavement markings indicating that they are <br /> for employee carpools and vanpools only.
