ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> TO <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br /> (REDWOOD SHORES BAYFRONT SPECIFIC PLAN) <br /> <br /> (CH2MHILL) <br /> <br /> This Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Cons..ul~ing.Services A.oreement (the <br />"Agreement") is entered into and effective as of the ,. ~_-~-_ day of :_ <br />2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and CH2MHILL of San Jose, California <br />("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on or about September 13, 2000, City and Consultant entered into <br />the Agreement for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report ("FIR"). The FIR <br />was to examine the impacts of a Specific Plan that describes development of the South <br />Bayside System Authority ("SBSA") property in Redwood Shores; and the adjoining <br />church property and radio station site north of its treatment plant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement does not provide funding for the Consultant to <br />respond to comments on the Draft FIR and completion of the Final FIR; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Parties have reached agreement by which Consultant, among <br />other things, will prepare an Administrative Draft Final FIR and a Final FIR; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, SBSA has agreed to pay all costs associated with the Consultant's <br />work contemplated by this Amendment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant agrees to perform the work as described on Exhibit A-3 (Task 4b <br /> and Task 5) attached hereto and incorporated herein; <br /> <br /> 2. Consultant agrees to perform the work in a timely fashion as specified in <br /> Exhibit A-3 under Preliminary Schedule; <br /> <br /> 3. The fee for the proposed work described on Exhibit A-3 (Tasks 4b and 5) is <br /> $25,154. A copy of the fee schedule is also attached as part of Exhibit A-3 <br /> and fully incorporated herein; <br /> <br /> 4.
