...a ..� �_ _ . __. __ ___ __ 06/13/2016 WHEREAS, the expansion of the Recycled Water Service Area is a required implementation measure of the Stanford in Redwood City Precise Plan as adopted in Resolution No. 15295; and WHEREAS, in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"), on September 9, 2013, the City Council certified the Stanford in Redwood City EIR; and WHEREAS, all environmental documentation for the expansion of the Recycled Water Service Area for the Project, including, but not limited to, the June 2002 Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Redwood City Recycled Water Project ("2002 MND"), and Stanford in Redwood City EIR were made available to the Redwood City Council for review and consideration prior to considering expansion of the Recycled Water Service Area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. 2. Based on substantial evidence in the record, the proposed expansion of the Recycled Water Service Area is within the scope of the previously adopted Stanford Project EIR. 3. As set forth in CEQA Guidelines Section 15162(a), there are no new significant impacts nor any increase in the severity of previously identified impacts and no new mitigation measures are required beyond those identified in the 2002 MND and Stanford in Redwood City EIR. 4. The City Council hereby rescinds Resolution 14863. 5. The City Council hereby adopts Exhibit "A" the "Recycled Water Service Area Map", which is incorporated herein by reference, as the delineation of the Recycled Water Service Area which is referred to in the Recycled Water Ordinance. 6.
