ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Anthony Apton, 3316 Page Street, Redwood City, advised Council of his <br /> concerns regarding the development in the grove of trees behind his house at <br /> Taft School. Mr. Apton advised that seven to eleven trees had been cut <br /> down already and the new building will be only ten feet from his property <br /> line, whereas the existing buildings are at least thirty feet away. Mr. <br /> Apton described his meetings with the project manager and Dr. Crates, <br /> Superintendent of Redwood City Elementary Schools, and advised that no one <br /> had been willing to discuss the matter with him. Councilman Murray advised <br /> he would contact Dr. Crates, discuss the situation with him, and then contact <br /> Mr. Apton.
