3.2 CONSULTANT shall schedule and attend meetings, as necessary, or as directed by Fire <br /> Chief, in order to complete necessary services to the satisfaction of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 3.3 Work with City's Fire Department evaluator and each property owner to evaluate building <br /> and identify the best form of life safety protection. <br /> 3.4 CONSULTANT shall coordinate the work of its estimator to determine order of magnitude <br /> costs, as well as work with property owner to establish their eligibility to receive low interest rate <br /> loan from the City. <br /> 3.5 CONSULTANT shall facilitate and assist property owner to obtain cost proposals from <br /> qualified fire sprinkler contractors licensed in the State of California to perform the work required. <br /> 3.6 CONSULTANT shall monitor the project for compliance with approved project conditions <br /> and agreements executed by and between City and property owner. <br /> 3.7 CONSULTANT shall exercise its best professional efforts to facilitate attendance and <br /> participation of all appropriate project team resources at scheduled project meetings to achieve <br /> best results and successful completion of each project. <br /> 4.0 CLOSE-OUT <br /> 4.1 CONSULTANT shall provide the senrices necessary for the close-out of the project <br /> Agreement(s) as follows: <br /> Working with the Fire Chief or designated representative prepare all necessary documentation for <br /> City's final acceptance of each Project, provide recommendations of any corrective actions <br /> required of the property owner or contractor in order to close out each project, and file or cause to <br /> be file any notices required for each project. <br /> 5.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE <br /> 5.1 CONSULTANT shall commence services upon issues of a Notice to Proceed from City and <br /> shall complete services on or before June 30, 2020. <br /> 6.0 COMPENSATION <br /> 6.1 CONSULTANT shall render services as directed by Fire Chief or his designated <br /> representative with an explicit understanding that hours of services may vary and will be billed on <br /> a time and material basis in accordance with the Billing Rate Schedule, attached as Exhibit"B". <br /> A17'Y/AGR/2016.071/FIRST SAFE7Y FIRST PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES-KITCHELL <br /> REV:04-07-16 RL <br /> Page 10 of 11 <br />
