<br />FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
<br />BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND
<br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY

<br />THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is entered into this _____
<br />day of June, 2016, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called
<br />"County," and CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the
<br />State of California ("City"), hereinafter called "Contractor".
<br /> W I T N E S S E T H:
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with
<br />independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department
<br />thereof; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on June 4, 2013, the parties entered into an agreement for emergency and
<br />support services for low-income San Mateo County residents who need assistance to meet their
<br />basic needs in an amount not to exceed $214,107 for the term of July 1, 2013 through June 30,
<br />2016; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on April 11, 2014, the parties amended the agreement to add a Cost of
<br />Living Adjustment (COLA) of $5,353, effective January 1, 2014, for an amount not to exceed
<br />$219,460; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on June 23, 2015, the parties amended the agreement a second time to add
<br />Sustainability funding in the amount of $33,437 and Core funding in the amount of $9,821 for
<br />FY 2014-15, for an amount not to exceed $262,718; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on March 17, 2016, the parties amended the agreement a third time to add
<br />a COLA in the amount of $2,205, General Funds in the amount of $9,065 and Sustainability
<br />funding in the amount of $16,718 for FY 2015-16, for a total amendment amount of $27,988
<br />and an amount not to exceed $290,706; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the parties now wish to amend the agreement a fourth time to extend the
<br />term of the agreement by six months through December 31, 2016 and add $53,766 for an
<br />amount not to exceed $344,472, for the purpose of providing emergency and support services
<br />for low-income San Mateo County residents who need assistance to meet their basic needs and
<br />to update provisions regarding the Clarity System.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO
<br />AS FOLLOWS:
