ATTY/AGR/2016.150/PFM-INVESTMENT ADVISORY SVC
REV: 06-22-16 JS
Additional Information
PFMAM’s clients benefit from the dedicated, experienced investment professionals who
are supported by the exceptional resources developed to assist clients with investment
programs. PFMAM will meet with the City regularly to ensure that satisfaction with
investment advisor services.
PFMAM also offers education and training for its clients. PFMAM often provides
additional hours of training to staff and elected officials, as desired. In addition, clients
are invited to a one-week off-site class on a wide range of public finance topics such as
multi-asset class investments for pensions and OPEB, GASB updates, bond math, IRS
regulations, environmental finance, and more. These sessions will update the staff on
current industry best practices and relevant market information.
PFMAM will perform a comprehensive review of the City’s investment policy at the start
of this engagement and every year thereafter to reflect changes in law, market
conditions that may affect the credit worthiness and availability of selected investments,
or market practices that affect how various securities are evaluated and traded.
6.1.I. - Page 45
