Team Captain Susan Eschweiler, AlA, Jefferson Avenue from El Camino Real to <br /> Middlefield Road <br />3. Team Captain Jack Matthews, AlA, and John Wellford, AlA, Jefferson Avenue <br /> from El Camino Real to Middlefield Road <br />4. Team Captain Phil Bona, AlA, Civic Center Block <br />5. Team Captain Cathy Nilmeyer, AlA, Civic Center Block <br />6. Team Captain George Sinclair, AlA, Main Street and Middlefield Road Mixed <br /> Use Project <br />Planning Director Patterson thanked all the participants and advised that the <br />following major points had been discussed at the Charrette: <br />1. Alternate access to Main Street <br />2. Jefferson Avenue as major entry <br />3. Middlefield Road removed <br />4. Civic Center, yes or no <br />5. Retail from Main Street to Middlefield Road <br />Topics suggested by the audience: <br />1. Housing in the downtown, what kind and where <br />2. Consolidation of government offices and location <br />3. Jefferson Avenue railroad underpass, yes or no <br />4. How to get residential traffic through downtown to Highway 101 <br />5.
