Councilwoman Gasparini described the Downtown Association meeting she <br /> attended and asked her colleagues if it would be in the best interests of <br /> the City for her to sit in on an Association study session regarding <br /> alternatives to the billboard. <br /> Councilmembers discussed the issue, and City Manager Everett reminded <br /> everyone there were two competing downtown groups and the City must not <br /> take sides. <br /> CONSENSUS: It was determined by Mayor Buchan that it was the consensus of <br /> the Council to have Councilwoman Gasparini sit in on the study group on a <br /> trial basis and bring back information to the Council, and that this was <br /> being done to keep the channels of communication open. <br /> MEMO 1/26/93 <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> A2.
