(c) As required by Section 1773.8 of the California Labor Code, C,)ntractor shall pay travel and subsistence payments to each worker needed tp execute the work, as such travel and subsistence payments are defined in lhe applicable collective bargaining agreements filed in accordance with this Sec~tion. / (d) To establish such travel and subsistence payments, the representative of any craft, classification, or type of workman needed to execute the <:ontracts shall file with the Department of Industrial Relations fully execuled copies of collective bargaining agreements for the particular craft, classific~ tion or type of work involved. Such agreements shall be filed within 10 d~.ys after their execution and thereafter shall establish such travel and subsiste ~ce payments whenever filed 30 days prior to the call for bids. (e) Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Section 1775 of the California Labor Code and shall, as a penalty to City, forfeit Twenty Fiv.,~ and No/100 Dollars ($25.00) for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for ea(~h worker paid less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft, cl~[ssification, or type of worker needed to execute the Contract. (f) As required under the provisions of Section 1776 of the Californi,~ Labor Code, Contractor and each subcontractor shall keep an accurate [~,ayroll record, showing the name, address, social security number, work classification, straight time and overtime hours worked each day and week, ~gnd the actual per diem wages paid to each journeyman, apprentice, wolker,~ or other employees employed by him or her in connection with the publ c work. Said payroll shall be certified and shall be available for inspection at all reasonable hours at the principal office of Contractor on the following basis: (1) A certified copy of an employee's payroll record shall be marine available for inspection or furnished to the employee or his or her authorized representative on request. / (2) A certified copy of all payroll records enumerated in Paragraph 4¢), herein, shall be made available for inspection or furnished upon request to the City, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and th~; Division of Apprenticeship Standards of the Department of Industrial Rek ~tions. (3) A certified copy of all payroll records enumerated in Paragral~h 4(f), herein, shall be made available upon request by the public for inspe~:tion or copies thereof made; provided, however, that a request by the ublic shall be made through either the City, the Division of Apprenticeshi Standards or the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. If the re( Jested payroll records have not been provided pursuant to Subparagrapl' 4(f)(2) herein, the requesting party shall, prior to being provided the recolds, reimburse the costs of preparation by Contractor, subcontractors, ~ nd the entity through which the request was made. The public shall not b( given access to the records at the principal offices of the Contractor.
