The City estimates the sales tax will grow by 1.5% and current <br /> projections are $10,400,000, or $150,000 more than previously anticipated; <br /> and interest income is expected to increase by about $300,000 from prior <br /> estimates due to different investment practices and the PERS interest in the <br /> General Fund. <br /> City Manager Everett described his talks with the Port about increased <br /> subventions, and the possibility of a transit occupancy tax.
