ATTY/RESO.0069/CC RESO APPROVING TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE – RUN WITH THE COPS EVENT <br />REV: 07-14-16 FF <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />RESOLUTION NO.______ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING THE TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE FOR THE <br />REDWOOD CITY POLICE CADET’S “RUN WITH THE COPS” EVENT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because of the impact that special events have on City streets and <br />traffic when a full or partial street closure is required for such a special event, the City <br />Council of the City of Redwood City finds that it is crucial that any such routes be <br />thoroughly reviewed and analyzed to enable careful planning of such special events in <br />order to minimize impacts to the general public where such street closures are permitted; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after thorough review, analysis, and planning the City Council does <br />hereby establish the following necessary Partial Street closure for the Redwood City <br />Police Cadet’s “Run with the Cops” event. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. “The Run with Cops” event route is hereby established as shown by the <br />map attached hereto as Exhibit “A”. <br /> <br />2.
