Councilman VPeiss moved to table the matter until such ti.me as a clear eut council ool.�cy on <br /> the subject of dedication of lands in cases other than subdivisions coming within the purview of the <br /> subdivision ordinance� and which �enerally involves more than mere lot splits� either by formal resol- <br /> ution or ordinance and after a public hearing on the questior.. This motion lost f ar lack of a second. <br /> Councilman Weiss requested that his statement be made a part of the minutes. The resolution carried <br /> r,..,— . _ <br /> on roll call vote with Councilman Weiss voting No and Councilmen Spillers and Stout being noted absent. <br /> �` Councilman �'eiss�s statement reads as f ollavs: <br /> I have expressed my sentiments on this type of question on several occasions� most recently at our <br /> meetin€; of Nove�ber 4� 1957. I regret to state that I do not find that any of m�r collegues or members <br /> of the Planning Comrnission have braught forth any statements or evidence of ar�y facts that �r ould warrant <br /> a change in �,y attitude or reasoning that even if our actians to require the dedication of lands� in <br /> �.•-• such instances as is involved in the instant case are constitutional� they are not,�rithstanding irrmioral <br /> and in violation of the spirit of the constittztion. � <br /> � � Councilman YPeyZaouth offered. RESOLUTION 23lt1 ESTABLISHI� AND DECLARING CFRTAIN DESIGNATID ENTRANCFS TO <br /> DESIGNATED INTERSECTIONS TO BE STOP ENTRANCES (Hazel Avenue and Madxone Street intersection) and moved <br /> its adoptic�� seconded by Cauncilman Weiss and carried on roll ca11. � <br /> Councilman Weymauth offered RESOLUTION 23�.2 ESTABLISHING QFFICIAI, PLAN LINES ON INDUSTftIAL ti�AY BET4�EF�i <br /> AVENUE AND 100 FEET SOUTHEASTF�?.LY OF STANDISH STREET and moved its adoption� seconded by CounciLnan <br /> Granger.
