Councilman Weymauth moved that they permit one , sewer and one water connection in line with the offer that the money �culd. be placed in a special fund for ar�y future assessments in the area� the oxmer of the property to put in the� sewer lateral and water service� sec�ded by Cauncilman Herlmer. Councilman Weiss amended the motion that they c ollect an ad- � ditional $950.00 for ar�y future water and sewer service. The amendment lost for laclt of a second. The � City Attorr��y stated that they are not charging this applicant or any applicant a aonnection fee. Councilman Weiss asked that the record sha�+r that by allowing them to connect to the Jefferson AvenUe line and charging the �2�000 doesn�t alter the situation. He feels .that it would. be better for the people on Jefferson Avernze if Oddstad Homes should be made to put in his am line doWn Farm Hill Boul- evard. He did not believe they should give special consideration to one person. The motion carried on roll call with Councilman Weiss voting No and Counci7rnen Spillers and Stout being noted absent.
