He invited the City Council, City Manager and Assistant to the City <br /> manager to tour Carrington Hall on an evening prior to a City Council meeting. <br /> Steve Penna, speaking on behalf of Sequoia Union High School, the Carrington Hall <br /> Auditorium Rescue Operation Committee and others, thanked Redwood City for the <br /> $244,000.00 contribution towards the project. He stated that the Committee <br /> responsible for the individual fundraising from organizations, raised a total of <br /> $488,000.00 including the City's donation. He further stated that the contribution was <br /> very instrumental in obtaining matching grants. He stated that the students and <br /> community that have used the facility are in awe of the renovation. <br /> M/S Hartnett/Howard to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the <br /> ordinances by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other <br /> items.
