<br />PETITION OF KENNETH EDWARD WHITFORD AND LEO CAFFERATA for exception to the strict application of Ordinance No.
<br />631, the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, in respect to Lots 5 and 6 of Block 2 and Lots
<br />7 and 8 in Block 2, Resubdivision of Lot 46 of Reese Subdivision. The Planning Commission recommends thell
<br />granting of the exceptions land recommends that the Council authorize the Planning Commission to approve the
<br />tentative map with the exceptions and conditions hereon noted: That a storm drainage easement 25 feet in
<br />width, being a portion of Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, of Block 2, Resub cf Lot 46 of Reese Subdivision, be given to .....i
<br />the City of Redwood City. The easement to be in the creek bed.

<br />Councilmn Spillers moved introduction of RESOLUTION NO. 2927 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Granger
<br />and carried on roll call, Councilmen Fields, Granger, Herkner, Spillers, Weymouth and Mayor Royer voting yes
<br />and Councilman Rosselli voting no.
<br />PETITION OF ABRAHAM CALHOON AND GERTIE R. CALHOON for exception to the strict application of Ordinance No. 631,

<br />COMMUNICATIONS:
<br />WAYNE COURT TRACT. The improvements in the Wayne Court Tract have been completed to the satisfaction of the
<br />Engineering Department who recommend that the improvements be accepted by the City Council subject to the
<br />following conditions&
<br />(1) Payment of all engineering and inspection charges due the City.
<br />(2) 'Guarantee against all defects in materials and workmanship which might appear within
<br />one year from date of acceptance.

<br />Spillers moved to acknowledge the letter and a letter be sent thanking him for his services (MINUTE ORDER
<br />#59-219)s seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. The Council was asked to think of someone to take
<br />Mr. Thompson's place.
<br />William Hanley submitted his resignation from the Park and Recreation Commission as he would be moving to
<br />Vallejo on January 1, 1960. Councilman Spillers moved to accept the resignation and a letter be sent to
