BAIRD PROPERTY: City Assessor estimates present market value is from $120 to $140,000. Discussion
<br />followed regarding advantages and disadvantages of consolidated corporation yard.
<br />LIBRARY LIFT: Decided that this item could be included in future Library budget as a regular capital
<br />project.
<br />CITY HALL PLAN: Proposed to construct additional 4500 square feet, eliminating dead storage, Council
<br />Chambers and Vity Attorney's office. Estimated cost, 4500 sq. ft. ®$22.00, $99,000; remodel second floor,
<br />entrances and stairways, $30,000; furnishings, $15,000; Total estimate $144,000. This area can be constructed
<br />over parking area (mostly in the fenced, unmetered area) subject to official clearance from Parking District.
<br />After further discussion, Councilman Herkner moved, seconded by Councilman Rosselli, to accept revised estimate
<br />of $144,000. Motion carried.
<br />PARK AND RECREATION: After discussion it was decided to leave out Parks Department Corporation Yard
<br />on the Baird property. Figure of $120,000 was decided upon for land acquisition for future Park and Recreation
<br />on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried.
<br />TEN14IS AND MULTI-PURPOSE COURTS: After discussion as to other means of raising the money, it was dec-
<br />cided to drop the amount of $47,000 from the plan for the present.
<br />MARINA COMMITTEE: Councilman Herkner reported latest development regarding proposed second phase. It was thought
<br />that Council should proceed with request for additional money at this time, based on need and feasibility.
<br />Loan would be repaid from revenues only. Small Craft Harbors Committee will meet in San Pedro Sundays Dec-
<br />ember 13th, and it was decided to send representatives to this meeting to apply for an additional loan of
<br />$230,000 to complete the project. RESOLUTION N0. 2930 APPROV DIG APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO
<br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DIVISION OF SMALL CRAFT HARBORS, FOR A LOAN IN THE AMOUNT CF $230,000, FOR. DEVEL-
<br />OPMENT CF THE SECOND PHASE OF THE REDVIOCD CITY MUNICIPAL MARINA, REPAYMENT TO BE MADE SOLELY FROM THE GROSS
<br />REVENUE OF THE SMALL CRAFT HARBOR was offered by Councilman Herkner who moved adoption, seconded by Council-
<br />man Rosselli and carried on roll calls Councilman Fields being noted absent.
<br />SIX YEAR PLAN continued:
<br />FAMILY RECREATION DUAL-PURPOSE BUILDING, $150,000. A fter discussion, Councilman Spillers moved that
<br />this amount be left in the programs seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried.
<br />STULSAFT MASTER PLAN, $116,000. Inasmuch as Stage No. 1 was nearing completions it was thought Stages
<br />2 to 5s inclusive, could be completed within a $100,000 budget. Councilman Weymouth so moved, seconded by
<br />Councilman Rosselli. Motion carried with Councilman Spillers voting no.
<br />Councilman Rosselli moved that the meeting be adjourned IN MEMORY OF DECEASED CITY EMPLOYEE JAMES R. BROWN,
<br />seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. Meeting adjourned, 5:45 P. m.

<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Ron W. Fields., Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner.,
<br />John Rosselli, Robert V. Spillers, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also
<br />present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, Engineering Associate William
<br />Martin, Jr.s Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini, Assessor -Auditor John J. Brophy, Police Chief William
