<br />DOROTHY ROBERTS, STARS OF TOMORROff, presented the Recreation Department with trophy #64 which they,won in Burl—
<br />ingame. Councilman Spillers accepted the trophy on behalf of the City.

<br />BRIDGE (BETWEEN GCRDON STREET AND JOHNSON STREET), REDWOOD CITY;
<br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND,
<br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call, Mayor
<br />Royer being noted absent.
<br />CONSIDERATION CF APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE SIX YEAR PLAN COMMITTEE. Councilman Granger moved to carry the
<br />matter on the agenda for one week, June 22nd, and in the meantime Councilmen were to submit a dditional
<br />names to the City Manager who was authorized to contact the peiDple on the list to make certain they would
<br />serve on the committee (MINUTE ORDER #59-90), seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried.
<br />FURTHER CONSIDERATION ON ANNEXATION OF LESLIE PROPERTIES. The City Attorney advised the Council on the status of
<br />the present proceedings for annexation of Leslie Salt lands No. 12 No. 2, and No. 3, and the status of the
<br />f
<br />legal action questioning the validity of the proceedings. The Mayor indicated the Council's desire to com-
<br />mence new precautionary proceedings for annexation of the same territory to insure the validity of the
<br />annexations in the event the prior proceedings, or any of them, were ever declared void or invalid for any
<br />reasons At the request of the Mayor, the City Attorney stated the intention of the Council that no action
<br />taken with respect to commencing new proceedings constitutes an acknowledgement by the Council that the April
<br />2nd proceedings are invalid or void in arV respect but that such new proceedings are designed and intended as
<br />a precautionary measure.
<br />The report of the San Mateo County Boundary Co.r mission dated April 2, 1959, approving the boundaries of the
<br />territories proposed for annexation was introduced.
<br />The affidavits of Ralph S. Dodge and Arthur U. Eskelin were introduced relative to the number cf registered
<br />
