07/25/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 15513 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY APPROVING THE TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE FOR THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY POLICE CADET'S " RUN WITH THE COPS" EVENT <br /> WHEREAS, because of the impact that special events have on City streets and <br /> traffic when a full or partial street closure is required for such a special event, the City <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City finds that it is crucial that any such routes be <br /> thoroughly reviewed and analyzed to enable careful planning of such special events in <br /> order to minimize impacts to the general public where such street closures are permitted; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, after thorough review, analysis, and planning the City Council does <br /> hereby establish the following necessary Partial Street closure for the Redwood City <br /> Police Cadet's "Run with the Cops" event. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . "The Run with Cops" event route is hereby established as shown by the <br /> map attached hereto as Exhibit "A" . <br /> 2 .
