' <br /> �_� <br /> MOTION: Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi , <br /> that based upon the testirrbny presented regarding other similar <br /> sales in the area the following parcels owned by Mobil Oi1 Estates <br /> (Redwood) Limited appear to be undervalued and should reflect a <br /> value of $140,000 per acre: 95-151; 95-152; and 95-161. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. � <br /> (MINUTE ORDER N0. 79-151) � <br /> City Attorney Schricker advised that because of the presence of <br /> Adair Slater of Mobil , notice can be considered to have been given <br /> to Mobil who also has the right to appeal before the September 15 <br /> deadline. He advised that a Minute Order will be provided to Mobil <br /> also as written notice. <br /> MOTION: Councilman Bury moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi , that <br /> the General Improvement District No. 1-64 Assessment Roll for 1978-79 <br /> with amendments be declared equalized sub�ect to such modifications <br /> as may occur because of individual applications for ad�ustment re- <br /> ceived by Septem6er 15, 1979. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER N0. 79-152) <br /> Director of Finance Ference called attention to his comnunication <br /> of August Z, 1979 to the City Manager relating to two applications <br /> for ad�ustment of assessments for GID No. 1-64 filed during the <br /> 1978 filing period. He advised that the former appraiser, Marshall <br /> & Stevens had inspected the properties and found them to be inferior <br /> to sales of comparable plans and reductions to be in owder, but no <br /> action was taken ax the time. Mr. Ference requested that the re- ""'""'' <br /> ductions be ordered now. � <br /> � <br /> MOTION: Councilman�Bury moved, seconded by Councilman Norris, to <br /> accept for reductian of assessment the following parcels: <br /> 1) Parcel� No. 095-053-120, John G. Murphy, 421 Luff Lane, <br /> ' et t oner, requeste a reduction of appra�ised value from <br /> : $105,000 to $9:3,000; and <br /> 2) Parcel No. 095-064-050, Pau1 Sue, 559 Compass Circle, <br /> ! et t oner, requeste a reduction of eppraised value from <br /> � <br /> 110,000 to 95,000.
