There being no objection, Mayor Rhodes stated that the City Council meeting scheduled for No�ember 26, 1979 will be cancelled and that Council will adjourn to a group interview session for applicants for appointment to City boards dnd commissions at 7:00 p.m., December 3, 1979. 2. Mayor Rhodes referred to his letter to Pacific Telephone Company relating to changes in directories concerning Redwood City, stating that he had discussed the matter today with representatives of the Telephone Company who had requested permission to make a short presentation at the December 3, 1979 City Council meeting. There being no objection, Mayor Rhodes requested that a presentation by the Pacific Telephone Company be placed on the Council Agenda for that date. Representatives in the audience from the San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce were urged to notify their members of the pre- sentation. 3. Councilman Bury, representative to the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) advised he had attended the recent General Assembly and reviewed projections made by that agency relating to housing, energy, etc. Council- ` man Bury advised that the ABAG Model Resolution supporting the projections will be placed on the December 3. 1979 City Council Agenda for Council con- sideration, and that a copy of Pro�ections '79 will be in the Council study. 4. Mayor Rhodes referred to the memorandum from the Director of Finance re- lating to a schedule for adoption of the ordinance benefitting retired employees by increasing PERS benefits. It was generally agreed that the City Councii will meet at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 1979 in the City P4anager's office. Letter from neighbors of 3159 Oak Knoll Drive Adelina Macedo, 628 Canyon Road, author of the requesting rezoning of that property from subject letter read a statement describing the R-4 District to R-1 District undesirabte situation which is believed would result if the property owner of 3159 Oak Knoll ; Drive develops his property according to its present R-4 District zoning and requesting � that his property be rezoned to R-1 District.
