There being no objection, Mayor Rhodes stated that the City Council meeting <br /> scheduled for No�ember 26, 1979 will be cancelled and that Council will <br /> adjourn to a group interview session for applicants for appointment to <br /> City boards dnd commissions at 7:00 p.m., December 3, 1979. <br /> 2. Mayor Rhodes referred to his letter to Pacific Telephone Company relating <br /> to changes in directories concerning Redwood City, stating that he had <br /> discussed the matter today with representatives of the Telephone Company <br /> who had requested permission to make a short presentation at the December 3, <br /> 1979 City Council meeting. There being no objection, Mayor Rhodes requested <br /> that a presentation by the Pacific Telephone Company be placed on the Council <br /> Agenda for that date. Representatives in the audience from the San Mateo <br /> County Chamber of Commerce were urged to notify their members of the pre- <br /> sentation. <br /> 3. Councilman Bury, representative to the Association of Bay Area Governments <br /> (ABAG) advised he had attended the recent General Assembly and reviewed <br /> projections made by that agency relating to housing, energy, etc. Council- <br />` man Bury advised that the ABAG Model Resolution supporting the projections <br /> will be placed on the December 3. 1979 City Council Agenda for Council con- <br /> sideration, and that a copy of Pro�ections '79 will be in the Council study. <br /> 4. Mayor Rhodes referred to the memorandum from the Director of Finance re- <br /> lating to a schedule for adoption of the ordinance benefitting retired <br /> employees by increasing PERS benefits. It was generally agreed that the <br /> City Councii will meet at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 1979 in the <br /> City P4anager's office.
