Discussion followed concerning the proposed advisory measure; whether or not voters would � be confused by such a measure; whether a favorable vote would have any effect on the • actions of the Legislature; the fact that � since the State has control, the result is meaningless as far as the City's ability to act; and the possibility of getting legisla- tive action if the advisory vote results of many cities were overwhelmingly favorable.
