Letter from Chapter No. 41 of the Retired There being no ob3ection, Mayor Barrett granted <br /> Public Employees Association of California the request of Clarence Anderson, President of <br /> requesting improved pension benefits for Chapter I141, R.P.E.A. to consider his letter <br /> City employees who retired prior to out of order at this time. <br /> January 1� 1974 <br /> Mr. Anderson comnented on the Government Code <br /> prov�s which make it possible for the City <br /> to increase pension benefits for retirees whose <br /> benefits have been adversely affected by in- <br /> flation and increased cost of living. He urged <br />; Council to do so. <br />� CONSENSUS: Mayor Barrett determined that it <br />` is the consensus of Council to refer the sub3ect <br /> letter to staff for a report on the matter <br /> during the stuc�y sessions on the Recomnended <br /> 4 1919-80 Annual Budget.
