The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this <br /> date in an ad�ourned regular meeting from June 17, 1974 <br /> at E:30 p.m. with Mayor Weymouth presidin�. <br /> Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Barrett. <br /> � Invocation was led by Reverend �eorge Ralston of the <br /> Word of Life Fellowship Church. <br /> Ro11 Call <br /> Councilmen present : Barrett, Henderson, Leipzig, <br /> Norris, Rhodes, Williams and <br /> Mayor Weymouth <br /> Councilmen absent : None <br /> � <br /> Approval of Minutes - June 2�F, 1974 <br /> � � <br /> MOTION: Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Council- <br /> man Barre:tt, to approve the Minutes of the City Council <br /> . meeting of June 2�+, 1974 as submitted. <br /> � Councilman Henderson requested that Resolution No. <br /> 7195 reflect the precise wording shown in the para- <br /> graph entitled "AMENDMENT" on page 5 of the sub,ject <br /> Minutes. <br /> The Minutes were approved unanimously by voice vote. <br /> Presentation - PRIDE Program <br /> Mario Bia� described the fashion show conducted at <br /> Pe�e s ar or in connection with PRIDE activities <br /> and commended Pete Uccelli, Councilman Norris and the <br /> 75 merchants who contributed prizes for use at the <br /> show. Mr. Biagi reported that the fashion show was <br /> also a financial success and presented checks in the <br /> amount of $520.00 each to representatives of the <br /> � Police Youth Club and the YMCA. The representatives <br /> of the organizations expressed their gratitude for <br /> � the donations. <br /> Mayor Weymouth congratulated all of those who partici- <br /> pated in the successful PRIDE fashion show and com- <br /> mended the action of those involved in making con- <br /> tributions to the two worthy organizations. <br /> Adj .Reg.Mtg. <br /> ?/1/7�+ <br />
