Mr. Smith recommended that <br /> authorization be granted to execute such an agreement. <br /> Discussion followed concexnin� the amount of financial <br /> support contemplated ta be given to the Theatre group, <br /> and the desirability and difficulty of making a community <br /> theatre group self-supporting. <br /> � In response to question, Parks and Recreation Director <br /> • Weeks advised that cost of production of musicals is <br /> greater than for plays and stated that the director is <br /> �"" pa3.d a nominal amount, but all other participants are <br /> volunteers. <br /> In response to question from Councilman Norris asking <br /> whether he should abstain from votin� since he is a <br /> _2_ <br /> Reg.Mt . <br /> ?/22/7� <br />
