Consent Calendar In response to question, City Manager Fales stated that the item relating to refund of taxes will have no effect on the tax rate. '�'""" In response to question, Planning Director Schroeter .�� described the subdivision proposed to take place with regard to the item related to property in the vicinity of Northumberland and Carlos Avenues. Glen Bean, 1E57 Alameda de las Pulgas, asked if City orces m ght perform the services described in the item relating to Mezes Park redevelopment and inquired about the fee schedule for such services. Parks and Recreation Director Weeks advised of the method of determining appropriate fees. City Manager Fales ex- plained that the City does not have a landscape archi- tect and that the Public Works Department is too heavily burdened to do the work as promptly as it is desired to have it done. He stated that it is the policy of that department to maintain a standing force ; only large enough to handle on-going work and to con- ; tract for special assignments rather than go to the , considerable expense of maintaining a larger force at all times. !
