Also attached is a report � from the Director of Public Works recommending imple- � mentation of the recommendations conta,ined in the Jenks � and Adamson evaluation. F Mr. Fales called a.ttention to the recommendation of the � Director of Public Works that the three 5-h.p. floatin� ! aerators referred to by Jenks and Adamson be changed to "�" � three 7�-h.p. aerators since the latter a.re stock items which can be delivered readily at slight additional �°� cost. Mr. Fales observed that the staff recommendation is that the Council authorize City staff to send Mobil a written Notice to Proceed in accordance with the 4 agreement. � Discussion followed and Director of Public Works Pusich � replied to questions concerning the availability of the ; aerators; whether there is a need to proceed immediately; � the length of time required to make the improvements; � the method of payment; the fact that the aerators are � saleable after the work is accomplished; and the pos- sibility of obtaining the aerators now, but delaying � the improvements until next summer, since praposed ; development is being delayed. � 4 � Cla Shank President of the Redwood Shores Homeowners � Assoc ation, urge t a e a,era ors e purc ase f mme ia e y while they are available . S fMOTION: Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Council- man Barrett, to authorize the staff to acquire three 72-h.p. aerators and that Council withhold approval of �+ plans and specifications for the improvement of the oxidation ponds until staff reports on the need for W�„ the improvement.
