3 21. <br /> Mr. Marberry made a slide presentation on fire character- <br /> istics of certain types of plastic pipe as demonstrated <br /> in tests conducted at Ohio State University which sug- <br /> gest little hazard is to be anticipated by use of plastic <br /> °��" pipe. <br /> �� In response to question, Mr. Marberry advised that the <br /> Plastics Pipe Institute is a trade organization of about <br /> 100 companies which produce resin, plastic pipe and <br /> related materials. <br /> Discussion followed and Mr. Marberry replied to questions <br /> with regard to what he believes to be the lack of danger <br /> to be encountered through use of plastic pipe. <br /> MOTION: Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Henderson, to close the public hearing. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> The public hearing was closed at 9:58 p.m. <br /> MOTION: Titles having been read, Councilman Henderson <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Leipzig, adoption of the resolution and <br /> the following ordinance : <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 1617 REPEALING ARTICLE VIII (COM- <br /> �..•.
