Referred to Staff for investigation and report back . Councilman Norris noted that Mr . Payne , Controller , had been con- tacted and there were several specific recommendations to alleviate the situation . He indicated he would discuss these with Staff . 4 . Wells Fargo Bank , request for abandonment of Walnut Street , in connection with their new building project for Broadway-Main office . Referred to Staff . 5 . Request by Myron Alexander , Chairman , San Mateo County Regional Planning Committee , that Council appoint alternates to the two RPC members from Redwood City . Mayor Keckley advised that he had appointed Councilman Norris as Council representative to the Regional Planning Committee , and noted that normally the members are one Councilman and one Planning Com- missioner , As Alternate Member representing Council , Mayor Keckley named Councilman Rhodes .
