Reports of City Manager MOTION : Councilman Williams moved , seconded by Councilman Norris , introduction of Ordinance Repealing Article II of Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City ; and Adding Article II to Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to Fire Prevention ; and Adopting by Reference the "Uniform Fire Code , 1973 Edition , " as Published by the International Conference of Building Officials and the Western Fire Chiefs Association ( first reading ) , setting the public hearing for January 7 , 1974 The motion carried unanimously by voice vote .
